I love They Might be Giants
The Bite was, well... it was the Bite. Too many dumb, rude people crammed into a small gated off section in the park. Food was ok, most likely I chose poorly because I hadn't eaten anything except coldstone all day and was starving. But Deathcab for Cutie was good and They Might Be Giants were excellent, fun, driving, involved and completely entertaining (aside from being attractive, talented musicians!). And yes as normal, I thought the Bassist and Drummer were the cutest, although the lead singer/accordian player was interesting looking too. And I was dying because there was a song about "Supertasters", how weird that I hear about that twice in one day when I have not heard much about it before. I was cracking up.
All around great show. Then to the boiler room for friday night observation. a couple songs and talk with an acquaintance named Kevin for like 3 hrs. Weird...I'm pretty sure we didn't really talk about anything but small talk, which I don't usually enjoy but it was alright. Then T and I drove around looking for bacon/breakfast as is twas 330am and food was sounding amazing. So Roxy it was after seeing the line at the 24 hr pancake house. It was a great night, I drove home around 430ish, crashed and woke up at 1030. Now it is time to go search for a dress that will make me feel cute at this wedding(s-maybe) today. Again to reiterate: I love They Might Be Giants
Have a wonderful weekend!
