pretty fog
frost on my lawn and heavy fog everywhere. It is that time of year again where I leave for work in the dark and come home from work in the dark. But it is pretty. Portland in the fall is wonderful and I took some time monday to just wander around downtown and kick through the leaves. Met the Missila for lunch at Fat Alberts, where I had the most delicious Omellette with cheddar cheese, avocados and bacon with fried potatoes on the side. Yum! Shopped a little found a wonderful Nightmare before christmas T-shirt and just had a pleasant day. Only to come to work yesterday morning and get yelled at in front of my peers (in a meeting) by a secretary who thought I was talking about her behind her back. Not so, never worth it. But she managed to embarrass me and make me feel like crap. Had I money in savings, I would have walked out of this place forever. I hate females that make drama about everything. I want to just come to work, do my job and leave.
So, I can't wait til next weekend. Dan and I are leaving for Colorado for 10 days. I need this getaway. Of course it will be with the in-laws who love to pack a bunch of get togethers and daytrips into our short stays, but 10 days might be enough time to get a little relaxing in. Plus we are doing our Christmas with Dan's family at this time, so that will be fun. Longmont is beautiful this time of year. You can see the mountains from his parents house and they will be covered with snow. I can't wait!!!
Okay, gotta go. You have a pretty, foggy autumn day!
