hooray!
So we met the kid yesterday. He's 16, tall, looks like a 16 year old boy, plays basketball, quarter back for the football team, "A" student, a drummer (with his own set), on the equestrian team does all sorts of pattern things, drossage(?spelling?), and herding contests and he owns two goats. He's sarcastic and funny and will fit right in. Just an all around good kid as far as I can tell.
So, we are kind of excited. He's staying with us tonight and will be moving in tomorrow after court, unless he decides not to do the court thing, which is totally up to him. But he asked us last night if he could move his stereo in and that is a good sign. Now we kind of have to schedule our going out, play time, and all that but he is a very independant kid and we were told needs very little supervision. So, possibly in a week or two we'll just try that out.
Ok, that's the update... we won't know about the other kid for a couple of weeks. We haven't met him or talked to his caseworker at all. But so far, so good!
okluyabuhbye!
