No beads for Taryn!

What!?! me?!? blind everyone with these freakishly pale headlights. Nope... not my thing. It's taxes for taryn and we sign and we get enough $$ to pay off the credit card. Yes a nice bundle, right before we get the kid and a new engine for Dan's car.
Figures doesn't it! You get a little cash and something breaks.

Oh well, this year's motto is the same as last year's: "It's only money!" And like always, a little less dough has never stopped us. We still are playing whenever we want and even that is going to change when Tim the foster kid moves in. Yep, craziness in the next few weeks as we adjust to the life of "guardians of the teenager".

I put on my Dad's 50th birthday party on Saturday night, I am hosting a friend of a friends 30th on sunday and .... Dun Dun Dun! (Drum roll quietly)

Your friend and mine: Tiffany's b-day on friday night at the BR. She has announced a "Goth" theme and I expect many to show. Got that?!?

Ok

I'll let you go for now... Have a nice sloppy wet day!

So, I'm in need of some insight.

My Huz is 30 and I will be in a year. We were approached by a lady we are acquainted with and she asked us if we would be interested in becoming a foster family for a teenage boy. I'm sure you can see the dilemma here, but the other factors are as follows: we have 3 extra bedrooms, we have an adequate income, Dan's work hours allow him to be home when the kid is not in school, the kid is already housed in this school district and is doing great at his school.

We could easily do this, we are in walking distance of the high school and we want to see kids succeed in the situations they are in. But the dilemma is partially are we ready for that kind of a lifestyle change and would it be safe for a 29 year old 125lb girl to have a strange 17 year old boy living in her house?

It is a quandary- let me know what you think.
